An unopened, sealed box of microwave popcorn is given to a spectator in the audience. They open the box and remove one of the three bags, tossing it to the performer.

The performer unwraps the bag, holds it between the fingers and thumbs of each hand, and proceeds to pop the bag of popcorn! A bowl is placed on a table, the bag opened, and the popcorn dumped into the bowl. The bowl of popcorn can then be handed out to a spectator in the audience.

This is the killer opener you've been waiting for. It just makes sense. Entertainment and snacks go hand-in-hand. Imagine the gasps of disbelief when you open the bag and fill a glass bowl with the popcorn. Then, you immediately hand the bowl of popcorn to a member of the audience for them to eat during the show.

At any moment in your performance, you remove a tea towel from your table, show it front and back, then immediately produce a full bowl of popcorn resting on your outstretched hand.
